In Marin County, there is live music year round but somehow it’s better when it’s outside in the summer sun. Bonus if it’s a festival. Good news! The Mill Valley Music Festival is taking place in Mill Valley on May 11-12, 2024. Even better? If you’re staying at the Mill Vally Inn, you can walk to the Mill Valley Music Festival. From Acqua Hotel and Waters Edge Hotel, a short car service ride will put you in the action at Friends Field nestled below the slopes of Mt. Tamalpais in Mill Valley.

The Festival takes place over two days, with lots of options for tickets here. We recommend getting your tickets now because only in it’s 3rd year, this is already a super popular destination event.

The line-up is a mix of national acts (hello Fleet Foxes!) and local talent (naturally, since Mill Valley has deep roots in the music world). There’s also world class food, drink, gorgeous visual art, extensive retail, and an array of kid-centric activities. A true multi-generational cultural event!
