Marin Art Spotlight: O'Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley

We know many of our Marin Hotels guests are looking for unique only-in-Marin experiences so today we want to share a favorite hidden art gem: O’Hanlon Center for the Arts in Mill Valley. This art center is located only a 20 minute walk from Mill Valley Inn but it feels a world away tucked back into a lush wooded hillside in a wonderful neighborhood.

The O’Hanlon center offers a consistent schedule of classes, artists talks, and gallery shows; you can check out the schedule on their website. As you make your way up the stairs to the gallery spaces, you’ll notice that the grounds are dotted with sculptures by local artists and nature provides the beautiful backdrop for this special spot.

Here’s the map of the walk to O’Hanlon for our Mill Valley Inn guests, if you’re coming from somewhere else, you’ll be able to find street parking in the neighborhood. The walk alone is delightful! You’ll see some superb Mill Valley Homes along the way, stands of magnificent redwoods, and golden retrievers out for their daily walk.
