Marin County Restaurants: A New Seafood Destination
You guys, you must plan to get over to Hook Fish Co at Proof Lab during your visit to Marin County. Proof Lab in Mill Valley was already considered one of the best surf shops in the country (if not the best), and now they’ve added one of the Bay Area’s best seafood restaurants to their compound.
The space itself is perfectly Marin: super casual indoor/outdoor. There’s a beer garden, a grassy lawn, and lots of communal tables. We suggest you enjoy a beverage — beer, wine, aqua fresca — and settle into the space before you order your food at the counter.
And the food. It’s excellent. We can personally vouch for the Poke Burrito and the Fish + Chips. Plus you can feel good about the seafood you’re enjoying at Hook Fish Co.
